Event at the state house will celebrate school choice options for students and families

INDIANAPOLIS – Next Monday, the Indiana chapter of PublicSchoolOptions.org will co-sponsor the Quality Education Celebration, an event coinciding with National School Choice Week that is hosted by the Institute for Quality Education. The event, featuring special guest Campbell Brown, co-founder of The Seventy Four, will bring together school choice advocates from across Indiana to celebrate National School Choice Week and support the many school choice options available to Indiana families.PublicSchoolOptions.org believes that every child, regardless of their zip code or how much money their parents make, deserves the best start in life. We firmly believe that begins with a parent’s ability to choose the school where their child will thrive — whether that’s in a traditional brick and mortar school, public virtual school, charter school, home school, or private school. Every child learns differently, even within the same family. Giving parents options so their child can succeed is critical.EVENT DETAILSQuality Education CelebrationMonday, January 258:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.Indiana State HousePublicSchoolOptions.org will participate in National School Choice Week events in Maine, Alabama, Idaho, Virginia, Georgia, and Wyoming.STATEMENT FROM LETRISHA WEBER, PUBLICSCHOOLOPTIONS.ORG INDIANA PARENT LEADER AND SCHOOL CHOICE ADVOCATE:“We are excited to join the Institute for Quality Education at the Quality Education Celebration to kick off National School Choice Week.
