The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

How to customize formatting for each rich text

The National Coalition for Public School Options (PSO) joined Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri and the Missouri Education Reform Council in a letter to Governor Mike Parson, demanding action as school districts across the state continue to ignore state law and leave thousands of students on waitlists for full-time online public schools.

Statement from Colleen Cook, PSO Parent Board President:

“Families shouldn’t be forced to enter costly litigation in order to exercise their right to choose the best education for their child during a pandemic. That’s why we are asking for Gov. Parson to put an end to this by issuing an emergency waiver for families during these unprecedented and trying times.

“School starts for many this week, and thousands of students remain in limbo as school districts continue to disregard state law and wrongfully deny or ignore enrollment requests for full-time online public schools.

“Last week, the Missouri State Board of Education and a Missouri Legislature Joint Education Committee heard testimony from parents on the serious problems with the implementation of the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP).

“While it is important for the public to learn about the egregious actions these districts are taking to block parents’ rights, a hearing does nothing for the families and students stuck in the crosshairs.”
