Looking Ahead to 2021

What’s a Rich Text element?

What’s a Rich Text element?

What’s a Rich Text element?

What’s a Rich Text element?

What’s a Rich Text element?
What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

  1. testing number bullets
  2. and two
  3. and now threeee

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

  • Testnig one bullet
  • two bullets
  • and now three

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

To our parents across the country,

2020 has tested us all, and, on behalf of the PSO Board, I want to personally extend our wishes that your family has fared well and stayed healthy during these tumultuous times.

While this time of year often invites reflection, I’d rather take this opportunity to be forward-thinking and share what PSO will be focused on in the New Year.

If the pandemic taught us anything (aside from the importance of washing your hands) it’s the need for educational options. School closures (and in many cases, re-closures) sent many families in search of a safe education for their children. In many communities this meant parents had to choose between their district’s attempt at remote learning and homeschooling their child. We’ll be carrying the torch for these families as we fight against policies that hinder choice; such as unfair funding, arbitrary enrollment caps and other access barriers.

Beyond the pandemic, we experienced a national reckoning with racial inequality in 2020.

As Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor famously said, “we are never going to reach equality in America until we achieve equality in education.” True equality in education means every single child in America has the same opportunity to receive a high-quality education. To achieve this, we are committed to engaging with policymakers to promote and expand public school options for poor and minority students, including full-time virtual, charter, magnet schools.

We are grateful to have an unwavering network of parents who are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure all children have an equal opportunity to receive a high-quality education that fits their unique needs.

We’ll be rolling out resources to help you tell your story and even more opportunities to engage with policymakers to make a meaningful impact on the future of education in America.

Together, we will continue to build upon our successful foundation and provide robust and equitable options for families and students across the country.

Sincerely,

Colleen Cook
President, National Coalition for Public School Options
