How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
(SACRAMENTO, CA – January 22, 2025) – Parents for School Options (PSO) joins California Parents for Public Virtual Education (CPPVE) in congratulating Congressman Kevin Kiley (R-CA) on his appointment as Chairman of the Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education Subcommittee. In 2022, CPPVE proudly honored then-Assemblyman Kevin Kiley with its prestigious Golden Apple Award. The award, presented each legislative session, recognizes lawmakers who demonstrate steadfast support for parental choice in education.

His unwavering support for students, parents, and online charter schools has made him a powerful ally for California families. We were proud to honor him then and are thrilled to see him take on this new leadership role.”
CPPVE is a partner of PSO and has long championed parent choice, in particular ensuring families have access to online education, quality curriculum, and adequate funding for virtual public schools in the Golden State. In addition to state-level advocacy, the organization works closely with PSO on our federal initiative to expand the National Free Lunch Program. Congressman Kiley’s new role provides a vital opportunity to ensure online charter school students are afforded the same benefits as their classroom-based counterparts.
