This frivolous lawsuit from the union is about money, not what’s best for students. That was made clear today in the hearing when the union lawyers made no mention of children and insisted it was “our money.” They are wrong."The district court, in May of 2015, established that charter schools are public schools and the current funding mechanism established by the state can continue. Despite the district court’s ruling, the union pushed forward with an appeal.
