CHEYENNE, Wyo. – On Friday, the Wyoming chapter of PublicSchoolOptions.org will host its annual 2017 Capitol Day Rally, bringing together parents and students from across the state to learn about the civic process and share their stories about how school choice has benefitted their families. Capitol Day was previously scheduled in February but cancelled due to inclement weather.Attendees include public virtual school students, parents and administrators. During the morning program they will learn more about the importance of school choice, virtual education, and how their voices are pivotal in the fight for more educational choices. Following the morning program all attendees will enjoy free use of Cheyenne’s famous trolley service to visit the Supreme Court building, the Governor’s mansion, and the Wyoming State Museum.PublicSchoolOptions.org believes that every child, regardless of their zip code or how much money their parents make, deserves the best start in life.
