Event at Cheyenne Depot Museum will celebrate school choice options; connect families with legislators

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – This Thursday, the Wyoming chapter of PublicSchoolOptions.org will host a capitol day to celebrate school choice, bringing together families that benefit from educational options – specifically virtual education. The event will give parents and students an opportunity to learn about legislation that could affect the future of school choice, meet with state legislators to let them know why school choice is important, and share their personal stories.PublicSchoolOptions.org believes that every child, regardless of their zip code or how much money their parents make, deserves the best start in life. We firmly believe that begins with a parent’s ability to choose the school where their child will thrive — whether that’s in a traditional brick and mortar school, public virtual school, charter school, home school, or private school. Every child learns differently, even within the same family.
