I have always had a passion for teaching from a very young age. My love for teaching was mainly inspired by my granny. She always told us “always focus on your education because that is something no one can ever take away from you”. That has stuck with me. I want to educate children and make sure they have the knowledge that no one can take away.

When Courtney Rodriguez’s children weren’t learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, Courtney knew she had to find an alternative learning option.“They were switching them back and forth from school to distant learning which was a complete joke. Liz Valdez almost disenrolled her daughter Caitlin from school during the COVID-19 pandemic. High school isn't stopping Kassadie from pursuing her career. The virtual school student is studying to become an ASL interpreter alongside her other classes at Indiana Digital Learning School. In observation of #DisabilityAwarenessMonth we are honored to share Kassadie's story!

Being home with Conner has been such a huge blessing. It has given us the ability to do things in a way that best supports his learning style. We can change things up day to day. Some days he works better at the table with the computer. Other days it is the floor with the iPad or printing things out and allowing him to sit on the couch and work.
